DR. Sanford is a native of Champaign Illinois. He attempted De Pauw university Greencastle Indiana, graduating in 1971 with a degree in economics.Dr. Stanfod completed dental school in Chicago at the university of Illinois receiving the distinguished Luz B. Bondoc award for attaining the highest combined score on the national boards given that year for Northwestern, Loyola and the university of Illinois Dental School.After graduating in June 1975 Dr. Sanford was commissioned in the United States navy and served two years at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, at which time he rotated through specialty positioning in oral surgery and endodontics.Dr. Sanford has many interest including environmental, charitable, and political organizations both on local and national level. Activities Dr. Sanford enjoys includes, swimming, wind and body surfing and most any other athletic in or out of the water when he is not peering into someone’s mouth.
